This comment is in regards to the John W Carlson painting “Nebraska”.
I’ve been following John Carlson for about only about a year-and-a-half now. However I’ve come to appreciate his paintings and art exponentially. I’m fortunate enough to have a few paintings of his as well.
However when I saw “Nebraska” it immediately became a favorite of mine. I feel it’s the most powerful piece I’ve seen of his. I almost think he has moved into a different Realm.
“Nebraska” should be seen in a museum where all can appreciate this perfect combination of angst, pain and beauty
